Since 2004 I have watched, followed and participated in the domain industry.  In the span of 5 years, I’ve purchased domains by the hundreds (and even sold a name once).  I continue to buy names through registrars such as Go Daddy and Rebel.  I’ve gained knowledge, insight and tips from professional domainers who network and share what they know via the major industry news aggregator Domaining.com.  I continue to educate myself, learn from others in the industry and apply this knowledge when developing my own domain names.

I’ve also made many (expensive!)  mistakes.  I’ve purchased hundreds of basically worthless domains because I did not do my research before jumping in feet-first (there’s a post for that).  Now, there’s a seriousness and sense of purpose that I’ve adopted and apply whenever I think about buying or acquiring domains.
